Attendance: School-Based Support
Strengthening school attendance and engagement by supporting Middle and High school students through on-site personal and academic support, leadership development, and family engagement activities.
Activities include:
- Access to after-school and summer programming
- Monthly personal and educational development workshops
- Referrals to resources within their school and community
- Access to post-secondary education that may include resources regarding FAFSA and scholarships

Talking Círculos
Empowering youth through culturally-based leadership models in which culture is used as a tool for positive identity formation, goal setting, and decision-making.
Xochikalli, young women’s leadership group | Ollin, young men’s leadership group
Ollin and Xochikalli are youth leadership programs for young men and young women ages 14–19, grounded in the Joven Noble curriculum. Offered at the Latino Center of the Midlands and participating Pathways to Success schools, these programs guide participants through meaningful rites of passage—helping them build identity, make healthy choices, and develop the tools to prevent substance misuse, teen pregnancy, relationship violence, and school failure.
Weekly sessions include:

- Pregnancy and STI Prevention
- Substance Abuse Prevention
- Goal Setting/Decision Making
