Business hours remain Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with remote operations on Fridays.

The Latino Center of the Midlands is embarking on a $10 million renovation and expansion of its South Omaha headquarters. The project includes a complete renovation of our current headquarters and the full acquisition and integration of the adjacent FNBO building. Once completed, our total facility space will increase by 50% (Sqft.), allowing us to:

  • Expand existing services and launch new programs
  • Create dedicated spaces for community gatherings, workshops, and events
  • Improve client access, navigation, and overall experience within the building

This investment will significantly enhance our ability to meet the growing needs of the South Omaha community.

What will the new building include?

The newly renovated facility will be thoughtfully designed to foster innovation, inclusion, and community connection. Key features will include:

When will construction begin and how long will it take?

Demolition is scheduled to begin in May 2025, with full construction starting in August 2025. The renovation is expected to take approximately 18 months from the start of construction, with the newly renovated headquarters anticipated to be fully operational by January 2027.
